Laboratorio Performativo de Acciones Cuirs

En el marco de las actividades culturales PC_Acts 2025 de la UPV, organizamos este laboratorio de dos días.

📌 Taller Teórico: “El Cuerpo Queer y Outsider”
🗓 3 de abril | ⏰ 18:30h – 21:30h | 📍 Aula A26, UPV
Taller sobre la práctica artística de la performance en el campo expandido a cargo del Profesor Álvaro Terrones (UPV) y de le artista y performer Graham Bell Tornado codirectore de La Erreria (House of Bent).
En este taller hablamos de referencias queer y trans dentro del campo expandido del arte de acción. Esta histeria alternativa reconoce que el cuerpo no es neutro y que a pesar del hecho que la práctica de la performance es la más híbrida, indisciplinada y Queer de todas, su historia oficial excluye a menudo practicas relacionados con el cabaré y la cultura popular que son espacios más accesibles a les disidentes de sexo/género. El taller finalizó con la acción coral: Cor pus Delicti, basada en la figura trans/católica de la Moma.

🗓 10 de abril | ⏰ 10h – 14h | 📍 Auditorio Alfons Roig, UPV
Taller vivencial a cargo de La Erreria (House of Bent) y el director de teatro Jacobo Julio Roger, donde experimentamos de manera lúdica con lenguajes y expresiones corporales queers. En el taller hemos invitado a les participantes a cuestionar los códigos binarios de comportamiento y a encontrar sus monstruos interiores, creando juntes nuevas corporalidades queer.

Queer Movements: Performative Laboratory of Queer Actions

We organized this two-day workshop as part of the Polythecnic University of Valencia´s call out for cultural activities PC_Acts 2025.

📌 Theoretical Workshop: The Queer and Outsider Body
🗓 April 3 | ⏰ 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. | 📍 Room A26, UPV
Workshop on the artistic practice of performance in the expanded field led by Professor Álvaro Terrones (UPV) and artist and performer Graham Bell Tornado, co-director of La Erreria (House of Bent).
In this workshop, we discussed queer and trans references within the expanded field of performance art. This alternative hysteria recognizes that the body is not neutral and that despite the fact that performance art is the most hybrid, undisciplined, and queer of all practices, its official history often excludes practices related to cabaret and popular culture, which are more accessible spaces for sexual/gender dissidents. The workshop concluded with the choral performance Cor pus Delicti,based on the trans/Catholic figure of the Moma.actical

📌 Practical Workshop: Performative Laboratory of Queer Actions
🗓 April 10 | ⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | 📍 Alfons Roig Auditorium, UPV
Experiential workshop led by La Erreria (House of Bent) and theatre director Jacobo Julio Roger, where we playfully experimented with queer body language and expression. In the workshop, we invited participants to question binary codes of behavior and discover their inner monsters, creating new queer corporalities together.
